This project was a collaboration with my long time directing partner, photographer Giulia McGauran on her first (and possible only) single. The shoot was fairly freewheeling, which left a mountain of footage to edit into the final video.

Given the importance of staging multiple copies of Giulia, the clip was first composited roughly in Premiere. Using dynamic link we swapped between rounds of editing and compositing, refining the footage down until the final motion felt satisfying. Although the action was shot on a lilac backdrop, the background has been keyed out of each shot so that the colour is perfectly matched throughout the clip.
